Forthcoming album - 'Distance'
"A sleek response to their 2003 debut, Under Wires and Searchlights". Piers Martin, Uncut (****).
The reclusive duo from Manchester, UK produced the album 'Under Wires
and Searchlights' (released bywww.ochre.co.uk),
already considered by some as their album of the year. Comparisons have
abounded, with names such as Sigur Ros, Labradford, Neu!, Brian Eno, Harold Budd
and Talk Talk all being invoked.

‘Fabricate’
At the end of 2003 Marconi Union and a number of other artists/groups
were each invited to remix a track from last years highly acclaimed album
‘Worsted Weight’ by American band Charles Atlas. The results of that project
is a CD called ‘Fabricate’ which has been picking up glowing reviews in
America and Europe

‘Eg Elska Hana’
Marconi Union have also completed a remix for Ochre Records artist Always
Crashing In The Same Car [Och056]the track is called ‘Eg Elska Hana’ and
has been released in extremely limited numbers on a 7” single in clear
vinyl as part of the Ochre Singles Club 7x7 Series.
